Valentines Day is usually a day people share affection with each another, it will be the complete opposite when Cruiserweights Mark Flanagan (14-4, 9 KOs) and Andrew Green (11-0-1, 6KOs) meet at the Eaton Hill Hotel on Fox Sports’ edition of Friday Night Fights.
This proves to be an exciting matchup between two of the countries promising up and comers. If that wasn’t enough to entice fans, the fight announcement came with a social media spiel from the undefeated Green. The Western Australian posted on Fabebook with comments he would break Flanagan’s nose and mouth.
Flanagan took exception to this and replied with his own remarks saying he will expose Green, who he feels has not fought the calibre of fighters he has been in with.
Both men will be fighting not only for pride, but the winner will be in a good position to claim a chance at the Australian title.
The undercard will feature undefeated Middleweights Michael Zerafa (13-0, 7KOs) taking on Luke Sharp (8-0-2, 2KOs) over 10 rounds.
Sabrina Ostowari (7-0, 1KO) and Arlene Blencowe (2-1) will meet for Australian Female Lightweight title honours.
Waylon Law (6-5, 2KOs) coming off his most impressive victory, a technical knockout over Brent Elliot to claim the Queensland title, will clash with the undefeated Nathaniel May (4-0,3KOs) over 6 rounds.
This will be broadcast Live on Fox Sports 1 from 7PM.
