During a Fox Sports interview, Garth Wood sat with arms crossed, glaring at Daniel Geale. He has made clear he took offense to comments made by Geale in 2011 after he knocked out Anthony Mundine.
He stated he would not be shaking hands with Geale or show any respect until the match is finished and he makes him earn it.
Wood, who enters as wide underdog, says, “Geale’s experience outweighs mine, but I’ve already proven before, my want and heart get’s me over the line.”
Geale who is coming off just his second career defeat, a narrow loss at the hands of Englishman Darren Barker, said, “My team and myself learnt valuable lessons and we’re not going to leave any stones unturned, we’re going to make sure we take advantage of every little situation.”
While neither man wanted to give a prediction, they both confidently claimed they would be the one walking away the winner.
This will be broadcast on Wednesday the 19th, Live on MainEvent PPV. It features a full undercard of talent, including the pro debut of NRL star Paul Gallen. Read more here: https://haydenhooper.wordpress.com/2014/02/13/geale-v-wood-undercard/
