A full undercard featuring Jason Cooper v Roberto Lerio, Townsville’s Ryan Heck, and a stack of other North Queensland talent making their pro debits against international opponents will be on display.

  5. Round 4 – Purdon was game from the start, especially getting a late call up from fighting on Wednesday. Heck continued to box and land straight lefts. 10-9 Heck.

  6. Round 4 – Lerio gets warned for low blow. Cooper takes some time, huge bombs been throwing by both fighters. I’ve got Cooper that round just. 10-9 close fight.

  7. Round 5 – Lerio gets deducted 1 point for low blow. Lerio goes to business on Cooper’s body. Lerio lands a big left hook, these blokes going toe to toe. Great scrap. 9-9 Lerio.

  8. Round 8 – Both men go out throwing, Lerio gets warned for low
    Blow, but nothing in it. Lerio lands a huge right hand, Cooper boxes and lands combos to the body and head. Have to give this round to Cooper. 10-9 Hard bout to score, I have it 78-72.

  9. Up next is the main event on the evening, these two men don’t need an introduction. Mark Flanagan vs. Daniel Ammann for the vacant cruiserweight title over 10 rounds.

  10. Round 4 – Flanagan lands some nice short rights up stairs and straight rights down stairs. Ammann lands some nice body shots and a left hook. Hard to score, 39-37 Flanagan.

  11. Round 8 – Ammann hits Flanagan with a low blow, time has been called. Time back on, Flanagan goes straight to work, lands big right hands and works Ammann’s body. Crowd chants Bam Bam, both men throw huge body shots inside. 76-76 even

  12. Round 10 – Both fighters working tiressly, Flanagan lands some nice right hands, Ammann lands some good jabs when Flanagan came in. Awesome scrap. I have it 96-94 to Flanagan.
